Oregon emissions testing rules

Oregon's DEQ tests vehicles registered inside the Portland and Medford metro-area boundaries. Portland covers 1975 and newer vehicles; Medford covers vehicles 20 years old or less. The fee is $25 in the Portland area and $20 in Medford, and you pay only when the vehicle passes.
